Page history last edited by Lucie Lamoureux 11 years, 9 months ago

Lucie's presentation on Knowledge Sharing

Discussion points raised following the presentation included:

  • KM or KS or both
    • can break it down in many wyas (frameworks as example)
    • KS is about people-to-people
  • Don't want to run away from KM
  • KS is more important to us
  • Data to Information to Knowledge or Knowledge to Information to Data (or non-linearly)
  • KM has different components
    • Knowledge acquisition, knowledge capture,
    • KS
    • Documenting
  • IFAD Documents only talk to KM (not KS)
  • Trust is key (and has probably prevented sharing)
  • Acessibility to knowledge
