The group pondered on who is included in the Focal Points group. And concluded that IFAD country focal points and key national govt partners in all countries of Asia-Pacific form the Focal Points group.
Next steps 
  • Bring in new people on board through e-discussion, sharing results of past expereince, meetings etc.
  • Capacity development to use and manipulate collaborative e-tools towards working together effectively (eg. using websites)
  • Strengthen hardware and software capacity
  • Strengthen facilitation skills
  • Regular forum on themes to identify, share and apply expereinces
  • Reactivate, with the help of FPs in leading and moderating, discussion groups being used in the past to brainstorm on ideas, challenges and expereinces.  ENRAP to encourage the group in this activity
  • Training of trainers on how to transfer knowledge
  • Study what IFAD is doing on KM and where are the gaps
  • Regular exchanges at the field level
  • Share the KLM Philippines experince in an indepth manner for those interested (requests from China, Vietnam, others?) to see how and if this could be applied to their countries 
  • Capacity development on producing knowledge products (how to make it attractive, useful, etc.)
